Terms and Agreements

 

These Terms and Agreements govern the use of the samokat.uk website and the purchase of goods. The seller is AMPY RESEARCH LTD (registration number 16672984), address: 85 Great Portland Street, London, England, W1W 7LT. By placing an order, you agree to these terms.

 

Order and Formation of Contract

Placing an order constitutes your offer to purchase goods. The contract is formed when we confirm receipt of the order by email. We reserve the right to decline an order (for example, if the item is out of stock or delivery to your area is not possible).

 

Prices and Payment

•       All prices are quoted in pounds sterling (GBP) and include applicable taxes unless otherwise stated.

•       Payment is made at the time of placing the order by methods available on the website.

•       We make reasonable efforts to ensure pricing accuracy; in the event of an obvious pricing error, we will contact you before dispatch.

 

Delivery

Delivery timescales and zones are shown on the website during checkout. A minimum order value may apply. Risk of accidental loss of goods passes to you at the time of delivery.

 

Age-Restricted Products

Alcoholic beverages are sold only to persons aged 18 and over. We operate a Challenge 25 policy: upon delivery, the courier has the right to request proof of identity and to refuse to hand over alcohol if age cannot be confirmed or if there are signs of intoxication.

 

Returns, Cancellations and Product Quality

•       In accordance with the Consumer Rights Act 2015, goods must be of satisfactory quality and as described.

•       Perishable food products and items made to order are generally non-returnable for hygiene reasons, except where they are not of satisfactory quality.

•       If a product has arrived damaged, is past its expiry date or does not match the order — please contact us within a reasonable time and we will offer a replacement or a refund.

 

Liability

We are liable for foreseeable losses caused by our breach of contract. We do not exclude liability in cases where doing so is prohibited by law (for example, for personal injury caused by our negligence).

 

Force Majeure

We are not liable for delays or inability to perform our obligations due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

 

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales; disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
